Welcome!
I recently finished my PhD at UC San Diego doing research in computational proteomics under Dr. Nuno Bandeira at the Center for Computational Mass Spectrometry. My research at UC San Diego was focused on using repository-scale data to illuminate unexplained portions of the human proteome.
When not in the lab, I live in a turn of the century carriage house with my girlfriend and cat, where we collectively watch a 30 ft agave bloom in our tiny alley garden. Apart from that, I enjoy cooking with the excellent produce we can find here in Southern California, playing and listening to music, coffee, and board games - especially Power Grid when I can convince people how much fun it actually is!
